Hi.

I’m Annie!

ZERO.

ZERO.

ZERO.

The number of prescription medications my family of four is on.

The number of times I reach for an OTC medicine from a pharmacy.

The number of times our family has been sick this year (besides a mild runny nose that passed in a day or so.)

The number of times my kids have been on antibiotics.

The number of times myself, my husband, or my children have been hospitalized for an illness (Grey spent a single night at chop at 5 months old with RSV, and was better in four days total. 🙌🏻 thank you plants.)

The amount of chronic illnesses we have.

The amount of ear infections, allergies, asthma, or eczema we have.

I don’t say this to brag, or be flippant about those who do struggle with these issues.

I say this to normalize health and normalize an intact and vibrant immune system.

I say this to normalize wellness.

Why are families like mine being demonized by the media and government agencies?

You’d think they’d want to know more about families like mine. Why does our health look so different than the chronically ill America we live in?

Why aren’t we asking questions instead of blindly following the recommendations of the CDC, HHS, and FDA?

Maybe it’s because this was never about health at all.
